Just say NO! No to TAXES, NO to new License Plates, NO to any new fees, NO to this out of control government in Albany that is running us straight into the poor farm. It is Time to stand up as one voice and tell them NO!
Once again Governor Paterson warns the Senate and the Assembly members that this state is going broke, he says we will be out of cash in 5 weeks! What did they do today? NOTHING! NOTHING to even try and cut anywhere to try and attempt to rescue this state from the fiscal abyss we are falling into. Seems now we are racing California to the bottom. Read the rest of this entry »

Isn’t that special, they want to preserve it there but what about up here? Why the hell have we not moved forward getting rid of the tolls here on Grand Island.
I see both senators are sucking up looking for votes down there. When can we expect them to show their faces up here? How about it senators, how about eliminating these tolls for us, our legislators are refusing to do anything and even have a member of the Thruway Authority Board collecting money for him…. Isn’t that right Senator Thompson.

This mixer is for sale right now and will sell the truck with it. First come first served on this one, it is ready to go. The truck is a 1991 Chevrolet 3500HD with a 7.3 Diesel and a 5 speed trans. New Clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing etc.. Just installed new glow plugs and it starts and runs great.
The mixer will carry 2 3/4 yards easily, if the mix is dry 3 yards is no problem at all. The mixer itself weighs 3000 lbs empty. Fully loaded it weighs 15,000 lbs. Hydraulics are run by the 24 HP Honda V-Twin with Sauer Danfoss pump, transmission and Auburn gear with the Power Wheel reduction drive.

Senate Finance Committee Chairman Carl Kruger says they don’t have to cut, he says we can use different stashes of money that are all over the place… Say what? If there are stashes of money in different areas then why the hell is that the case? To raid the rainy day fund just to once again bail out the state with an influx of cash is NOT fixing the problem. That is all Albany tries to do every year, get an influx of cash somewhere and bail out the state. Last year it was the federal stimulus money, in years past federal money, borrowing, selling agencies to itself like the thruway and other magical tricks.
It is time to do the right thing and actually do the job they were elected to do and that is to balance the budget, cut the dam spending etc…. Wishful thinking and trying to use supernatural powers just does not work any more.

Make no mistake who’s to blame if lawmakers fail today to close the $3 billion hole in Albany’s bloated budget.
Antoinne Thompson and Bill Stachowski’s state Senate Democrats have failed to identify even one single spending cut to stop the red ink and prevent year-end bankruptcy for the state.
Instead, they think they can use their “supernatural powers” to simply “wish away” the problem, such as by announcing, as they did this week, that the problem’s not that bad, says the NY Post.
And the Daily News says that Thompson and Stachowski’s Democrats are “paralyzing” Albany, just as they did with their month-long walkout this summer.

MY God the Buffalo News is on a roll. What has gotten into them? Was it our protest? Was it Carl Paladino’s constant barrage of criticism on Sullivan and Lipsey? What ever, it doesn’t matter right now all I know if they continue this way they will sell more papers.
Citizens understandably may feel powerless against these leaders. But citizens also can vote, and overwhelming complaints from thousands of taxpayers might get their attention.
It’s your dollar. It’s your family’s quality of life. It’s your survival.
Call, write or e-mail your legislators. You hired them. They work for you — or should. Insist that they do.
Things we have been saying for quite some time. What has taken them so long to catch on? Read the rest of this entry »

To say we are not having an affect on the local media would be wrong. It appears that they at the Buffalo News are finally waking up, maybe years to late but, the are waking up. We will have to watch and see where they go from here like, who will they endorse in the upcoming elections. Will they endorse the likes of Antoinne Thompson? Bill Stachowski? Dale Volker? Sam Hoyt? Robin Schimminger? Crystal Peoples? etc, etc…..?
Everyone wants to pick a winner but we need to elect people that will stand up and say NO for Western New York, say NO to downstate and New York City. Say NO to any and all new taxes and fees, NO to higher burdens to the people of Western New York. Cut the costs of medicaid and education funding. We have the most expensive systems around the country and they are the worst and have FAILED all of us.
Get rid of ALL the Authorities starting with the Thruway Authority, say YES to a New Pension system and pass a Law to TAX retirement pension NOW to ALL who collect pension and stop the healthcare for all public employees for the rest of their lives after a few short years on the job.
The list is endless and the time to act was years ago, BUT now will work, we have NO choice. Do it, call and ittitate your senator and assemblymen and be relentless. Tell Sheldon Silver and Malcolm Smith to sit down and shutup. It is time for US to take this state back! End of subject.

Scozzafava should have been thrown out of the Republican party long ago, why she is even a R is beyond me. The word RINO does not even fit her agenda. She is a liberal, tax and spend Dem that needs to join her side and be defeated in her bid for reelection.

“Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is not making a present or a compliment to please an individual — or at least that he ought not so to do; but that he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country.” –Samuel Adams

I cannot fathom this height of ignorance from the Senate Democrats. The state is looking at over a 10 Billion deficit and the majority will not attend? What BS is this?
at the same time many legislators will be in Puerto Rico attending an annual conference of lawmakers.
What the hell is this all about? A trade mission to in Puerto Rico? I suppose we are paying for all this too… How many millions will be thrown out the window as they are on a joy ride to another part of the world.
