Carl Paladino for Governor!
Governor Paterson sounds good but does the opposite, Rick Lazio does nothing for us, Andrew Cuomo does even less than nothing for the citizens of Western New York, and members of its most active Tea Party group, TEA New York.com
We are a fast growing movement across Western New York from Jamestown to Rochester, and are located in the Buffalo area. This year’s elections are crucial across New York, as all Statewide seats are open, including the Governor’s office, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Comptroller, two U. S. Senate seats, and the entire New York State Senate and Assembly. This is the year to replace as many incumbent politicians as is humanly possible, especially here in the Western New York area.
As Western New Yorkers, we are looking for candidates that will stand up for us, the People of all of New York, not just the downstate special interests and power brokers. All of the leadership in this state is from the New York City area, and we are tired of being ignored and thrown overboard by the status quo. We have NO representation in Albany, we have NO leadership, we have NO one to stand up and it is time we have leadership from Western and Upstate New York to lead this state out of its dysfunction, and save us from the economic abyss.
We are announcing today that we are drafting the President and CEO of Ellicott Development Company, Carl Paladino as the TEA Party Candidate for Governor. Mr Paladino has been a vocal advocate of and for the People of this state, a proponent of reform and restructuring of the political process, a crusader in holding politicians accountable, and has had success in removing the tolls in Buffalo and at Black Rock.
Carl Paladino is a political force of his own, is widely respected by all the politicians, is relentless in focusing and driving home the points of failure of Albany and the representatives that are supposed to serve us, We the People.
He’s got my vote.
I will get this out via blogtalkradio, twitter and facebook. I will also be recommending to people to vet this candidate. Lazio has proved he is a Progressive anti-2nd Amendment RINO. He will never get my vote. I will be following and digging into Carl from now on.

I see that they’re basically saying he’s going to run on the TEA Party line. Are they going to try and run him in the GOP primary to challenge Lazio directly, or are they going to run as a third-party and siphon votes?
It would appear from the articles involved that their choosing the latter route. This is very unwise. Let’s be realistic, in a state-wide election, IF they choose that route, all it’s going to do is create a hole big enough for even Paterson to slip through.

Out of those four, there is no doubt that Carl Paladino is head and shoulders the best choice. He’s got private executive experience. He’s had his hand on the pulse of the NY political situation for quite a while, and he is not afraid to speak out for what is right, especially from our viewpoint.
I agree that he should run as Rep or Dem, as I believe a third party candidacy would toss the vote to one of the primary parties.
Carl, check it out… If it seems right, GO FOR IT! You have my (our) support!
Anytime a third person or party splits the line, the incumbent Democrat walks back into office every time, at least in NYS. This year could be different, especially in light of the Mass. win and rising public sentiment in favor of real reform. In Nassau County, the challenger to CE Tom Suozzi won on the “Angry Taxpayer” line — although, Mangano also had the Republican endorsement.
However, history shows that NY voters are monumentally apathetic, despite discontent — If Carl Paladino agrees to run, we will definitely run a Primary.

I was thrilled to hear that Carl is considering throwing his hat in the ring. Everyone I know has had it with the lack of representation in Albany for all but downstate. In a time when political correctness (merely for the sake of PC-ness) supercedes common sense, it’s been refreshing to have a voice like Carls speak the plain, unvarnished truth. The TEA-Party just might be the only ticket that could grab enough attention from all of the many discontents across the state – especially those not familiar with the Pallidino name – yet. If miracles can happen in Mass., it could happen in NY – keep the faith & Go Carl!

But I have never heard of him and most of NY hasn’t either. Please give information that can be used to recruit others other than a “friend of a friend of a friend says”.

Rick Lazio as a candidate is OUT OF THE QUESTION as he is already anti-2nd Amendment and has voted for more restrictive gun controls for NY.
Lazio is only good at one thing at the state level: HE LOSES. We don’t need another hapless loser on the GOP ticket.
I’d be delighted to have Carl Paladino as an option. PLEASE primary against Lazio!!! Third parties may work in towns and villages, but not at the state level. I want Carl riding the Elephant into Albany with a Tea Party escort.

I have never given to a PAC nor have I ever actively campaigned for anyone I definitely will for Mr. Palidino. Sir thank you in advance if you decide to run.

As for party line…. If any candidate isn’t supported by the unions, ACORN (working families LOL), they are already facing an uphill battle. Mr. Paladino’s odds will be against him regardless. However, once he addressed what is likely the concern of every NYer, taxes and rampant spending, poor representation, and corruption he’ll likely even the odds.
I don’t think there’s too many people willing to call it like it is; Carl Paladino may be that one who has a chance because of that.
Don’t care what the polls say, I vote my concience. I’m in for him.

Now we have Suffolk County Supervisor Steve Levy(a Dem. turned Rep.) He has a plan also and spells it out. I know you Upstaters think that you don’t get your fair share but We Nassau/Suffolk residents pay more and get much less than you. The whole idea is to “defeat Cuomo” and splitting the Party is sure defeat ! We have to be pragmatic about this or we will go down in flames.
