Amazing the only media to cover a town hall meeting. HT’s to the Lockport Journal.
Tuesday’s guest speakers are Carl Palladino, local developer and proponent of efficient governments; and Glen Wiggle, co-host of WBEN’s “The Financial Guys.” Two Niagara County legislators, Chairman William Ross, C-Wheatfield, and John Ceretto, R-Lewiston, are also scheduled to attend. Also, Wheatfield supervisor candidates Sam Conti and Bob Cliffe are expected to come. Meeting moderators are Rus Thompson, Dave DiPietro and Jim Ostrowski.
WHEATFIELD — The Niagara County Patriots will hold a citizen-sponsored town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday. This pre-election open meeting will be held in the Frontier Fire Hall, 2176 Liberty Drive, Wheatfield.
The Niagara County Patriots group was kindled in July at a small kitchen table with a handful of concerned neighbors. Membership has grown as meetings were held monthly. The Sept. 29 assembly welcomed more than 70 constituents.
The Patriots’ goal is to make all government entities accountable to the people they represent, open up government, bring back common sense and open discussions on issues that effect the community, state and country.
