Rule out new taxes ??? Will They?
Tuesday, September 29th, 2009Fresh off raising taxes on New Yorkers by more than $10 billion–including higher levies on everything from electric and phone bills, hunting and DMV fees, and property taxes–state Democrats are eying even more tax hikes.
Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, who controls the fate of taxes and spending in that house, told the Buffalo News he won’t rule out another round of tax hikes to close a gaping hole in the bloated but leaking state budget.
“Silver exercises complete control over the (Assembly). Nothing comes up for a vote unless he wants it to, and everything that does come up for a vote passes — including the 2009-10 budget. That document did just about everything wrong, and it still did little to control state spending.”
Republicans have vowed to vote against any new tax hikes.

Pursuit of elusive Pigeon intensifies
Tuesday, September 29th, 2009Still waiting to hear back from Albany…. Hello….. Anyone there? If we cannot depend on the justice system to do what is right then who can we depend on? Are we a nation of laws? Do politicians have to obey the law? If not then why the hell are we following any laws? Hello, Hello, Hello… Anyone there?

Driving people away
Tuesday, September 29th, 2009Albany has learned nothing and it seems neither have the people of New York. We like high taxes, we like high fees, we like being at the bottom of every list we should be at the top of, and we like being at the top of the list we should be at the bottom of. We like the most dysfunctional legislatures in the country. We like it, we like it all! After all we vote these people in every two years. Thank you Albany for simply doing the same thing every year and not changing. We will reelect you again next year, have no fear, we are all stupid and stupid is as stupid does. Want a chocolate?

Assistant DA says Clark and Sedita gave political kingpin Pigeon a pass
Monday, September 28th, 2009Sacha says prosecutors feared retribution
Retribution from WHOM? Pigeon? Not the voters but Pigeon? What a disgrace this is. I just called the Albany DA’s office and asked for help. Help from someone that will look into this and all the other political corruption in Western New York. We cannot sit idly by and watch, witness and allow this to either continue or go on any longer.
How many times have you asked yourself. isn’t anyone going to do something about this corruption? We see it all the time and the DA is asleep at the switch refusing to do anything about it so it goes on and on and on. Now it is becoming more open and blatant. Two bags Mullen is only the tip of the iceberg. There is so much going on behind the scenes that I know about and no one is doing anything to keep in in check.
We really have to rely on the Board of Elections? They have to send a referral to the DA’s office in order for him to pursue it? Bull S%#T!
They won’t turn in anyone unless it is a reform candidate or someone going after one of their own. Look how long they let Crystal Peoples get away with no filing her financial reports….. 5 years. We have to file reports even when I am not running for office or face a fine or penalty. All this is to keep their people protected and others in check. You want to do damage to their political patronage system? Then get ready to get attacked from all directions.

What has Stachowski done for his district?
Sunday, September 27th, 2009These comments are enough, I need not add anything… ![]()
I have yet to find one supporter of his in his backyard, Lake View. I think he, along with Patterson is toast.
There are many assemblymen like Stahowski. They have lost their effectiveness and are treading water, padding their pensions, cogs in a corrupt system, along for the ride. If only he had the guts to say so…but he lost his courage along the way.

Oh, don’t you worry!!!!!
The brainless voters in WNY will vote him right back in!!!!

New York State Budget Deficit May Grow to $3 Billion
Thursday, September 24th, 2009Size of the budget? Our obligation to balance the budget? Excuse me Mr Sampson, that is your number one job! Your whole existence in Albany is to pass a well balanced budget, on time with taxes feasible enough to maintain a strong business community which will then create jobs and jobs will only be created by a strong private economy, friendly to business and will promote job growth. He apparently has a twisted view of government as many liberals do. Just look at the fiscal condition of this state. The only jobs that have been created have been government funded jobs. Who the hell pays the taxes, pays the high fees, utility rates, high insurance rates and tries to survive in this corrupt atmosphere? Businesses that do create the jobs.
Agreed 100% with the core values he is spouting but he is doing things opposite than the way they are supposed to be done. He, like the rest of the liberal minds, ( D and R) are destroying the states economy. When we pay over 50 billion to pay off debt before anything else gets done, we are going backwards.
Get back to wok and do the job, NOW. Not sitting on your ass waiting on worse news to come in. Now is the time to get this under control.
“The success of government is not measured merely by the size of the budget or our obligation to balance the budget,” Sampson said. “Our success is measured by finding people jobs, educating their children and creating a safe and liveable environment.”
The “core values” to be preserved are no new taxes, zero budget growth and property tax relief, Sampson said.

Thursday, September 24th, 2009One more time our neighboring county tops the list. Have the politicos done anything to try and resolve this? NO, they continue to do the opposite.
