Group questions Catholic funeral for Kennedy

Monday, August 31st, 2009

“So in the case of Senator Edward Kennedy, he was not only against his church’s teaching on the issue of abortion, but the same with embryonic stem cell research, the same with gay marriage and Thomas Euteneuer (Human Life International) various other issues which set him in diametric opposition to his church’s very well-defined and clearly articulated teaching.”

State politicians like lemmings on voting with party leader

Monday, August 31st, 2009

Does this state and it’s representatives even come close to be either a Representative Republic or even a Democracy? Answer, NO. People like to paint us that say things like this an idiot, a party hack, or a lunatic. But, it has become more and more apparent every day as we watch the most dysfunctional legislature in the country work. The stalemate in the Senate proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that one party refuses to work with the other. It is all party politics all the time and it is disgusting. The very same thing goes on at the federal level as this country gets destroyed from the inside out.

New ‘mom and pop’ tax surprise
Retailers are up in arms after getting notice of a surprise, 5000 percent increase in the cost of their NYS tobacco sales licenses.
Store owners say they first learned of the hike-which increased the cost of an annual permit from $100 to as much as $5000, beginning Sept. 1-in renewal letters they received from Albany.
The new fee will force some stores to stop selling smokes, while others will pass along the increase to customers in the form of higher prices.
The new fee was one of more than 100 approved by Bill Stachowski , who is the chairman of the Senate’s small business committee and grew up working in his family’s ‘mom and pop’ neighborhood store, and Antione Thompson who claims that he cares so much for the businesses and the under privileged..

How the hell is this even possible?????? This just infuriates me to no end. All of this is being paid for by you and me, you and me…… problem is we continue to allow it to go on and on and on and on…………

Like 120 a year ain’t enough, he has to suck more and more blood out of our veins like a friking vampire. Corrupt all the way to the top like a fish that rots from the head down. They all belong in jail.

Espada Power Grab a Ploy for Pork

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

Isn’t this criminal??? Come on am I the only one that views this crap as criminal, abuse of power, illegal use of taxpayer money? Is the whole judicial system and attorney generals office either so corrupt or so inbreed that they cannot go after one of their own?

We all know it is not just Espada. This runs rampant throughout Albany and New York state. I have heard so many accusations against local, county and state politicians I am convinced more and more that we are dealing with a political criminal enterprise and the judicial system bought and paid for by the party heads we have to bring in the feds. Seems that we cannot deal with this with the current judges because of the “PARTIES” who owns the judges.

Analysis: NY pols and the voters who hate them

Sunday, August 23rd, 2009

I love this quote below….

a politics professor at Baruch College. “I would have expected they’d be mortified.

Mortified? An Albany politician or any politician for that matter be mortified, embarrassed, shamed? Doubt it very much. They are all greedy, self serving corrupt individuals that are only in this for their own self satisfaction, self aggrandizement and getting as much as they can for themselves rather than the very people they are supposed to represent. It is all about “The Party” any longer and we saw it in full color during the coup that shut the senate down for 5 weeks. Each side refuses to work with the other, they are enemies, not partners in government to work for the betterment of the electorate. What a disgusting, corrupt system, one the founders of this country warned us about. (John Adams)

As taxes rise, so do spending and deficit

budget up excessive NY growth
It is really incredible when you see a graphic like this as to how our politicians are spending this state into oblivion. The budgets grow and grow each and every year by leaps and bounds, billions in increases with no end in sight. We cannot sustain this excessive rate of growth, yet I am sure the politicos will raise taxes once again when they go into session in September. We are getting close to a 3 billion dollar deficit for this fiscal year. 3 Billion! When will the insanity stop?
