Eliot shows his face? No, just an email. But this statement is a catchy one.

Spitzer says his political demise shouldn’t diminish his achievements.

What as the Sheriff of Wall Street or the F’n Steam roller of Albany? Those are his words, not mine. He rolled his way through Wall Street harassing and indicting but when it came down to actual court time, he either lost of charges were dropped. He was after the headlines and he got those only after financially damaging everyone in his path.

Albany? He came in like a rabid dog, bad mouthing and swearing at every one, in his first couple weeks he made more enemies in his own party than allies. So to me he shouldn’t boast to loud especially after getting a budget passed that grew by $11 Billion over the last Pataxme one.

Eliot Spitzer Update

Despite his personal failings Spitzer says his political demise shouldn’t diminish his achievements. Still, his life is so much different now.

He sometimes jogs in central park before work, buys his own cup of coffee, drops his daughters at the school bus and hails his own cabs.
In an email obtained by the New York Times.. Spitzer writes to a former aide..
“we are surviving.” “silda has tough moments. my job now is to take care of her. i have done more than my share of damage.”

And there appears to be heavy damage done to spitzers relationship to the man who was his number two. Governor David Paterson took over in Spitzer’s wake.. but the two don’t speak regularly. In fact, governor Paterson says the last time the two talked was while he was training for the utica boilermaker. The Spitzer family took a recent trip to asia, but the former governor still has legal issues hanging over his head. Four of those charged in the prostitution ring pleaded guilty and the woman who used to book the call girls is cooperating with prosecutors.

Although Spitzer has hired a criminal defense attorney prosecutors are not saying whether he will be charged.
