A message from Jim Tedisco concerning the Grand Island Toll issue.
At least we have one person fighting for us in the Assembly. NoGItolls.com
Dear Mr. Thompson:
Thank you for contacting me to express your continued support on the removal of the Niagara section of Thruway from the thruway authority’s grip. It is always a pleasure to hear from you.
I appreciate your kind words, steady updates, and commend you for your countless hours of dedication to such a worthy cause. As I’m sure you know, I feel that it’s simply not appropriate for faceless, unelected bureaucrats to make such an important decision affecting the finances of so many New Yorkers. Any change in Thruway tolls must come before the 212 men and women who were duly elected by their constituents to make such decisions.
As you know, Assembly Bill 10003 continues to be held by Assembly Democrats in the Assembly Ways and Means Committee. Be assured that the entire Assembly Republican Conference will keep your thoughts in mind during any further progression of this legislation.
If you have any questions, concerns, or further updates, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
James N. Tedisco Assembly Republican Leader
