As we enter the final stretch of the primary campaign season I want to first thank each of you for your efforts. Each and every day I remember I would not be a candidate were it not for the many that circulated petitions or contributed in other ways.

To date we have been able to contact thousands of voters by passing out palm cards, attending parades participating in phone banks and placing campaign signs throughout the district.

Our efforts have not gone unnoticed. Many throughout the district have commented on our message of reform and are very supportive. The people have been looking for a candidate that has conviction about reform and will not compromise those convictions for political reasons.

We must however, not succumb to the temptation to quit before the victory is won. The election is still three weeks away and there is still much to be done.

To date all efforts of the campaign have been paid for by the generous contributions of our volunteers. All materials used to date and for the balance of the campaign are fully paid for and again I am grateful.

However, there remains one last financial hurdle which must be overcome by the 21st of August. As you know, it is typical for a campaign to begin advertising in the final weeks of the campaign. We are no different and we have determined to fund 12 days of advertising on WBEN Buffalo and WLVL Lockport. At present we have insufficient funds to accomplish this task. In order for us to accomplish this goal the campaign will need to receive an additional 4,000 dollars.

Like you, I understand that the rising cost of fuel, food and every other thing necessary for life has put a significant burden on family finances.
