I could think of different names like Irresponsible NY, or responsible for the destruction of NY. Responsible New York would be going after life long incumbents that are nothing more but obstructionists to reform and tax relief. To haphazardly jump on board to fund campaigns with out a real focus is senseless and destructive. Is this really more retribution or payback for what the Republicans did to Tom a few years back? I think so. He’s pissed and has the money to go after them at the expense of the taxpayers of New York.

I could think of a multitude of reasons not to focus on the Senate and even more reasons to go after the Democrat controlled Assembly and mainly go after Silver and the supposed leadership there.

I understand his adviser and money man is Steve Pigeon…. Steve Pigeon? Ya think he has the taxpayers in mind? NO, he is simply carrying on his battles and the struggle to get control back. How completely senseless this whole thing is and a pity that a billionaire like Golisano didn’t seek better advice, I’m available Tom, you should call me. We created an organization called Primary Challenge to go after life long politicos…. Why not fund some of their campaigns and run races that can be won.

If he succeeds he will do more damage but at least we can point a clear finger of blame. What a piss poor example he will set but all to typical of this bozo, upside down state. We are so frikin backwards here, how the hell was he able to make so much money thinking like this?

Golisano to launch Responsible New York

Tom Golisano, the billionaire founder of Paychex Inc., is unveiling his new political action committee tomorrow in Albany, called Responsible New York.

Golisano, the three-time gubernatorial candidate, is expected to announce that he will put $1 million into races where he thinks the incumbent hasn’t been doing a good job.

He is already set to put his money into backing three Senate Democratic candidates — “Baby” Joe Mesi, who is running for a seat being vacated by Sen. Mary Lou Rath, R-Amherst, Erie County; Kathy Konst, who is expected to run against Sen. Dale Volker, R-Depew, Erie County; and Richard Dollinger, who is running against Sen. Joseph Robach, R-Greece.

He is also said to be considering backing Democrat David Nachbar, a millionaire in his own right, in Nachbar’s quest to unseat Republican Sen. James Alesi, R-Perinton.
