DNC Panel – 1/2 in 1/2 out, Hillary is crying
Strong leadership for Americas future, HAHAHAHA! What a friking joke this party has become, the Republicans are running a strong second.

DNC Panel Approves Delegate Deal on Michigan and Florida Primaries, Despite Objections – America’s Election HQ

Democratic leaders struck a long-awaited compromise over the disputed Florida and Michigan primaries Saturday evening in Washington, D.C., flying over objections from the Hillary Clinton campaign and agreeing to give both delegations half their vote at the party’s August convention.

The deal was reached after members of a Democratic National Committee rules panel spent all day bargaining and met privately for more than three hours. Members announced their plan to a raucous hearing room that reflected deep divisions within the party. Both states had their delegations initially stripped for holding early primaries in violation of party rules.

No more free ride for Thruway big shots

paid-thanks.jpg

Oh, whoopie frikin do….. 7, only 7? Like this will have a big effect on toll revenue. This practice started in 1965 in union negotiations, there are thousands of these out there. This will do nothing and is simply pandering. Is it a start? Only time will tell. My god there are many, many other places to go to in this bloated budget and the corrupt system.

This does not impress me in the least bit. Do something real, something substantial…. Or our hands tied and we are at the behest of the NYSTA…. Read the noGItolls website for some more real waste.

No more free ride for Thruway big shots
Under pressure, seven lose lifetime passes

Thruway Authority commissioners who set toll rates are now paying tolls like the rest of the traveling public.

Authority executives, pressed by State Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo, canceled free E-ZPasses on Wednesday for seven current and former members of their governing board.

DRILL HERE & DRILL NOW!

taxpayers-get-plowed.jpg

Sign the petition here….. Are the Democrats in Congress on drugs? Raising taxes……. Why in the world would they have such a desire to turn us into Europe? Because they are so socialist and huge government types…. But it is turning back to the Conservative ways, keep an eye on the elections there.

The Democrats in Congress will pursue this agenda and continue to blame “big oil” when gasoline prices soar, we have shortages and rationing like in the 1970s and the economy is in massive recession. Hillary stumping in South Dakota said we don’t need any more drilling, just more windmills, punishing of the oil companies and less gas usage. She obviously isn’t paying much attention as to how one has to get around out here on the prairie.

DRILL HERE & DRILL NOW!

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich’s petition to Congress demanding the removal of government obstacles to increasing our energy supplies is gathering momentum by the minute, while the Democrats’ do-nothing Congress wants to raise fuel prices.

Actually, labeling Congress a bunch of “do-nothings” is almost right, but not quite. They’re doing their best to create more obstacles to growing our energy supply. And while the price of energy is already unreasonably high, they’re working hard on a liberal agenda that will raise the prices consumers pay for gasoline, diesel fuel, natural gas and home heating oil.

Private sector jobs up 35,500 down state, down 9,100 upstate

apathy.jpg

It’s yet another state report that reaffirms the economic divide between upstate and downstate, and how each region should be treated separately.

Private sector jobs up 35,500 down state, down 9,100 upstate. That is the sad truth of the fact that we are loosing and in reverse. Time to slam on the brake and get one economic development czar here, right here in upstate…….. We are after all the step child so Paterson will ignore us, should we be surprised? No… we have gotten use to their lies and our politicians are no help whatsoever.

If Gov. Paterson needed another reason to reverse his position on upstate economic development, he has it now. It’s yet another state report that reaffirms the economic divide between upstate and downstate, and how each region should be treated separately.

As any upstater knows, the economic outlook here is not bright. It hasn’t been for some time. And now comes the latest report from the state Labor Department to drive that point home. Last month, downstate gained 35,500 private sector jobs, while the rest of the state did not fare as well. When upstate was factored in, the number of private sector jobs in the state fell by 9,100. It’s the third month in a row that the overall job total has fallen.

Tax U-turn to boost North Sea oil

offshore-oil-rigs.jpg

So taxes have consequences – imagine that!

Just wondering, how come Britain can have the North Sea oil, with that choppy water and storms and rigs sometimes capsizing – without causing an ecological nightmare??? But we can’t develop our off shore oil? I am so sad for the direction of our country.

Not to mention China sucking the oil out off the coast of Flordia (thanks to Castro) while our politicians and global warning envirowhackos hold their breath and turn blue to not let us get our own oil from our own off shore areas.

Tax U-turn to boost North Sea oil [lower taxes for more production]

Oil industry leaders are anticipating more North Sea tax relief after the first signs of a Government U-turn. Modest tax changes were announced yesterday as the Prime Minister and Chancellor intervened to try to boost flagging production.

Gordon Brown and Alistair Darling took the unprecedented step of making a direct appeal to oil industry leaders to increase output and accelerate developments. They took members of Oil and Gas UK, the industry trade body, by surprise by asking to join what was planned as a routine meeting of the organization near Aberdeen yesterday.

For heavens sake, how is it that the tax exempt status of this “church” hasn’t been questioned? Seems to be a lot more politicking going on than there is preaching of the gospel…

How Do You Spell F-R-A-U-D?

You mean…politicians LIE? No way….

How Do You Spell F-R-A-U-D?
( Cal Thomas opines )

Fraud: “deceit, trickery or breach of confidence, perpetrated for profit or to gain some unfair or dishonest advantage.”

The HBO movie “Recount” tells the story from the Democratic Party point of view that the 2000 presidential election was improperly won by George W. Bush because of the trickery of his fellow Republicans and the Supreme Court. That has been shown to be untrue by no less a source than the reliably liberal and pro-Democratic New York Times, but facts rarely influence propaganda.

Legislature cruising to end of session

I think we need to send the Gov a message, maybe he has not heard from enough of us because he has been no where to be found on this Grand Island Toll issue. Click here and send him one now.

They always put off controversial things until after the elections, like pay raises, fee/tax increases…. What about the tolls and the thruway authority?

Dennis is a great guy and deserves a good shot at the senate. He would stir things up in Albany. We have had a couple long and in depth conversations and he is up to this. I will help him when ever and where ever I can.

Like Your $5 Gas?

Tuesday, May 27th, 2008

gas-tax.gif

Once again I will say. You want to see the price of gasoline and diesel drop overnight? Congress and the President needs to announce that we are drilling and building refineries in this country starting immediately. We are also going to start building new nuclear facilities to generate electric power to get off of the use of natural gas, oil and coal.

Just the threat of the dedication of us to become energy independent and get off of OPEC oil will throw a chill up the spine of the oil cartel. Then we need to follow through and work to be just that, energy independent and self sufficient.

Like Your $5 Gas?

Spending $60, $70, even $90 for a fill up at the gas station is fun right? When it comes to crippling, racist, and economically debilitating energy policy liberals have truly paralyzed America. And they seem proud of their efforts. In the lefts refusal to allow us to seek new energy sources they are stunting a nation’s economy, they are hurting the average family, and they are starving hungry children.

They also have the gall to do all of this under the guise of feigned outrage at oil companies in addition to self-superior Senate floor speeches where they rage against the administration. They also express abject resentment towards anyone who dares to mention the obvious – that it is their policies that put us in this mess to begin with and disallows our escape from it.
