Paterson announced today that he will begin a statewide “Radio Town Hall” tour next week that will present New Yorkers with the opportunity to ask questions of the State’s Chief Executive, and allow the Governor to hear concerns as he crafts his policy agenda. The “Radio Town Hall” tour will largely take place via local radio touching communities in every region of New York State.

“It is critically important that citizens of New York State have the opportunity to speak honestly and directly with their government,” said Governor Paterson. “As the State’s new Governor, I need to know not only what issues affect New Yorkers, but howthese issues and problems impact their lives. Only through a real and open dialogue can we begin to shape the legislative and budgetary priorities that are most important to New York residents and come up with viable solutions.”

The “Radio Town Hall” tour will commence on Live from the State Capitol on WGDJ/Talk 1300 AM at 10:15 am on Monday, April 21st. WGDJ/Talk 1300 AM is broadcast across the Capital Region of the state.
