Proven record of fighting for change? Yes, change, in the individual that holds the office she runs for and that is the end of change. Has Erie County changed for the positive in the last 3 years? NO. Then what change is being proposed here? Defending the middle class? The only ones she defends is the unions that she gets her campaign donations from and all the troops that they put out on the streets doing the campaigning.
I even heard that she has said that all the positive work done on the Grand Island Toll issue has been hers and I am only taking credit for what she has done. I want to see where her name is on the petition, where she has endorsed the petition drive, where her name is supporting the legislation I wrote with Senator Maziarz to take the 190 from the NYSTA and end the Grand Island tolls. Where is her support for that? Besides grand standing and claiming credit for anything, she should have came up with this idea. Problem is, none of them can think out side the system that has poisoned them and all their very thoughts.
This is what they do, she like most are opportunists, striving for that next government job, the next better paying political office. It is their lifestyle, it is their life, sucking off the system that they have created to protect themselves, ever striving for the bigger pension, the best health care and all paid for by you and me.
Change? Yes we need change. We need citizen legislators that have succeeded in private life and want to take that into government to make bloated government better and then get out and go back. Not career minded political hacks that are screwing up this county, state and country.
It seems there will be a good primary now though, her brother in law Dan Ward wants the seat too, I guess they don’t get along.
