Every article i read about Jon Powers curioulsy leaves out his military service and refers to him only as a school teacher. I find this interesting considering his website has multiple pics of him in uniform, referrs extensively to his military record, and solicits people to join "Powers Platoon." Jon Powers, in addition to being a school teacher is also an Army Captain and decorated Iraq war vetran who served in the Army’s 1st Armored Division.
