Republicans would never do anything underhanded, nor exploit a sex scandal for political gain (Watergate, the Impeachment of William Jefferson Clinton, Swiftboating, Citizens United Not Timid - the anti Clinton group, Karl Rove)…silly me.

Regardless, the sex isn’t the reason why our new gov. may be in trouble with this situation. Should he have abused his power to place an unqualified person in a job for any reason, that will cause many people to question his judgment and morals. I don’t know if Ms. Dixon is or is not qualified for the position she was given OR if she did or didn’t have sex with Gov. Patterson, but the truth WILL come out eventually. Should there be nothing to hide, then no harm no foul. I for one do not want to go back to the type of lying, cheating, slimeball politicians like the one we just got rid of (Sir Elliot Spitzer).

Also, don’t blame a so-called “Republican slime machine” for democrats problems. You sound as delusional as Hillary complaining about a “vast right-wing conspiracy”. Pathetic.

Since when is an extra marital affair grounds for impeachment? Larry Craig the REPUBLICAN senator who was caught soliciting gay sex in airport bathroom is STILL IN OFFICE!!! Please explain this double standard, because i cant get my head around it.
