Funny thing though, why when the word "racist" is used do people automatically think of hatred upon blacks (or another ethinic background) and not the discrimination upon whites? What else better than to focus on the Freedom they got from Abraham Lincoln? Slaves went to the north to fight the oppression of the southern slave owners. Thank God that when it came to Slavery the north won. That was so many years ago, his pastor still subscribes to it as though it is still going on today in this country. It isn't, focus on the bravery of those that fought for the very freedom we all have today. Continually focusing on the past and the negative simply keeps the divide in this country and in fact makes it worse. I have enjoyed the sermons of many Black Pastors, when they stay focused on their job which is preaching from the Gospel and the Salvation in Jesus Christ there should be Joy... Not divisive speech. There has been no descent of a slave elected to this office. I think the first one deserves some latitude on this issue, don't you?
