The information provided to Congress was based on lies, and the liars knew they were providing false information to Congress…also a crime.

If I tell you a “secret source” informed me that your neighbor was a drug dealer, then you tell 40 neighbors about your drug dealing neighbor, and I made up the whole thing, who would you blame when the cops break down his front door? You, the 40 other neighbors or me for providing you false information which you relied on?

Maybe information gathered from your sleep-deprived “victims” made to stand on a box has led to your protection for the last 7 years, and to the arrest of those responsible for slamming our planes into our buildings, killing over 3000 of our innocent civilians, as well as dangling the charred and twisted bodies of Americans from Iraqi bridges. I think it’s reasonable to say the torturers are in a different league.

And Congress reviewed the same information the “liars” had and came to the same conclusions, as did about 40 other countries.

Right, what was i thinking…the media doesnt waste time covering non-stories (natalieholloway, the runaway bride, the missing white girl of the month, larry craig’s bathroom behavior - he’s still in office if i’m not mistaken, blue dresses, sex sex sex)

Gimme a break…if you think the MSM doesnt cover BS all day all the time, YOU have your head in the sand. Next time you watch cable news, tell me how much time is spent on this story.

I can assure there is more going on in the world that what happens in Elliot Spitzers pants.

See what happens when you challange the nations top Banks? They get their buddies over at the White House to call on the FBI to end your career.

Not that paying for sex is the right thing to do, and is against the law, but seriously…to end his career? Seems a bit harsh.

This false moral outrage needs to stop every time a politician turns out not to be a saint. Bill Clinton, Mark Foley, Larry Craig, now Elliot Spitzer. Its a shame that they did what they did, but its an even bigger shame that we will lose these elected officials because we live in such a sexually repressed society where having an active sex life (Clinton/Spitzer) or being a closeted homosexual (Mark Foley/Larry Craig) is enough to ruin a life’s work.

This is not a Republican or a Democratic problem, it is a tabloid media problem. Is this really more important than a War that is costing 3 billion a week? Probably not, but it sells advertising, so this is what we are going to continue to see on the evening news and read in the morning paper.
