I am at a standstill at this point and am not sure what I am going to do in this the immediate future. We gave this race the best shot we could once again running on a shoe string campaign budget.
I had a great conversation with County Executive Elect Chris Collins last night, I had to personally thank him for all his hard work and the phone calls he made on my behalf. Chris has his hands full, with the veto proof majority still in place in the legislature it will be difficult getting anything done.
Question is now after 12 years of fighting the status quo do I still have any energy or desire to continue on? My business has suffered greatly and yet I have stayed on course going after political corruption, government waste, patronage, tolls and on and on….. Seems like the people like things exactly the way they are and I guess at this point if they’re happy with it all then so be it.
I am taking a break as I contemplate what I am gonna do next.

Just take a break and recharge your batteries, Rus. You’ve done a lot already even without being elected, a lot more than most people.
