Michael Steele is ready to be the Vice President of the United States, and as his supporters point out what a VP he will be.The Presidential hopeful lucky enough to get him to say yes as a running mate, will definitely have an advantage over the rest of the field.
Mr. Steele was Lt. Governor of Maryland from 2002 until 2006 when he left that office for an unsuccessful bid for a Senate seat in Maryland. Prior to being Lt. Governor, he was the Maryland GOP Chairman and delegate to the 2000 Republican Convention and a member of the Republican National Executive Committee.
He is smart, powerful and ready to be Vice President, of that there can be no doubt. During his campaign for the Maryland Senate seat, he proved himself in a debate with his rival, Ben Cardin. The debate was moderated by Tim Russert, and Steele came away a shining star, having totally dominated the entire debate.
