ALBANY, NY – Assemblyman-Elect Greg Ball (R-Carmel) was named as the Assembly’s Ranking Member for the Veteran’s Affairs Committee. This prestigious assignment suits the newly elected Assemblyman due to his honorary service and experience in our Nation’s military.

“I am pleased to welcome Greg Ball to our Conference as our Ranking Member on the Veteran’s Affairs Committee,” said Minority Leader James Tedisco (R,C,I-Schenectady, Saratoga). “With his background in the military, Assemblyman-Elect Ball will be an invaluable asset to our Conference and the Assembly as a whole in support of veterans and their families.”

“It is a true honor to have been chosen as the Ranking Member for the Veteran’s Affairs Committee,” said Ball. “Having served our country, I know firsthand the sacrifices our veteran’s have made for our freedoms and liberties and I am dedicated to standing up for them.”

In addition to the Veteran’s Affairs Committee, Ball has also been appointed to serve on the Assembly Election Law, Housing, and Social Services Committees.

“Reforming Albany and providing for the residents of the 99th Assembly District are my top priorities. It is my privilege to continue to serve them and all the people of New York State. I am eager for the Legislative Session to begin and to affect meaningful reform measures that all New Yorkers deserve,” concluded Ball.
