This is a joke right? Just because he has run before and is the first Democrat out of the gate doesn’t mean he is the leading candidate. Let’s look at some of the possibilities from the Dem side.

Marinelli has been looking at this position for years and of course she would be the favorite of the unions. Jim Keane former Gorski Deputy is looking at it as is Paul Clark Supervisor of West Seneca.

On the Republican side, Bill O’laughlin, Barry Weinstein have expressed interest, Bill announced months ago.

By far the favorite and leading in polls is Satish Mohan, Satish smokes all the above named candidates in these paid polls. I do not beleive he will run but the polls indicate a candidate like Satish Mohan is what the people are looking for.

WBEN 930 : Ward Will Run For County Executive Again
The Democratic candidate who lost to Erie County Executive Joel Giambra in his last election campaign says he will run again.

Amherst Town board member Daniel Ward tells WBEN’s Steve Cichon that he will run on financial issues, specifically Erie County’s control board.

“We have to work very hard to get rid of that control board, but by doing so, not just by wishing it away but coming up with a fiscal plan that will make it go away.”
