Faso unveils Medicaid reform plan

If elected, Faso said his reform package would be based on core principles — among them, cracking down on fraudulent claims and improving efficiency.

Republican candidate for governor John Faso says he has a Medicaid reform plan that would save New York state taxpayers billions of dollars.

Faso said, “With these guidelines, Scott Vanderhoef and I developed a plan for the future of Medicaid that we believe will save the state $10 billion in state funds over the next four years and localities over $3 billion over the next four years.”

Several candidates said they’re concerned about waste and abuse within the $44.5 billion program.

Faso will take on whoever wins the Democratic primary next week — Eliot Spitzer or Tom Suozzi.

Even Spitzer says there is up to 40% waste, fraud and abuse and he has ingored it but Cuomo is gonna start investigating it. They are both frauds.
