WBEN 930 : County Lawmakers Push For New Law
Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - Three Erie County legislators are pushing for a new local law aimed at curbing the use of illegal immigrants who work for companies hired by the county.

Michael Ranzenhofer says they want companies to verify all workers are legal, taxpaying residents before they secure county contracts.

The proposal comes on the heels of the arrests of 41-illegal immigrants form Honduras who were working for a contractor at the county fair last week.

No one is talking about the illegal’s and the labor, black market. It’s about time someone did this, Bravo to Mike Ranzenhofer.
