N.Y.’S CROOKED POLS: ROBBING THE PUBLIC BLIND
THE ISSUE: Charges of corruption against Assemblywoman Diane Gordon.
State Assemblywoman Diane Gordon should seek guidance from Assembly Speaker Sheldon “Slick” Silver (”One Public Servant’s Dream,” Editorial, July 12). He also feeds at the public trough, but he is smarter in the way he does so.
Silver makes his job produce big bucks and knows that he and Gordon will always be re-elected by brain-dead dummies in their districts.

*****
Gordon already has her friends and the pastor of her church going to bat for her, and her brother is claiming she was set up.
I see an opportunity for Rev. Al Sharpton. Can’t you just see him holding hands with his rent-a-mob constituency and walking the streets with the big race card sticking out of his back pocket?
Next thing you’ll see is some liberal, white Democrat, looking to position himself for some black votes, telling us what a wonderful, caring person Gordon is.
As always, the hard-working taxpayers living in this liberal Democratic swamp will have to pick up the tab.

Seems like some of the people downstate are getting it..
