WBEN 930 : Leases Hot Topic At County Control Board Meeting
Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - The battle over leases between Erie County’s control board and the Giambra administration continues. Board members have been asking since May for copies of the county’s building leases, and now Chairman Anthony Baynes says enough is enough.

The administration handed over copies of five leases a few weeks back but the rest were not handed over until the end of the business Tuesday. Criticized by Baynes at Wednesday’s meeting, County Attorney Larry Rubin says the board did not officially request the leases until ten days ago.

He maintains the leases were not due until Wednesday’s meeting. He attempted to respond to Baynes’ criticism but was cut off.

One can only wonder what the Giambra administration is hiding, if anything..
